Biography
Caz Wood is one of the most exciting and talented dj’s on the scene today, playing on a regular basis around the UK. In 2006 Caz burst onto the scene debuting at Global Gathering after having only played out a couple of times. This gig was to prove significant to her success and since then she has played events including Tidy Weekender, Escape into the Park, Hard House Academy, Polysexual, Raindance, B2T and more recently Charlyz Angelz in Ibiza.
Caz frequently plays for Frantic and is a regular to their dj roster, helping to drive forward their events and parties. Caz is also the main resident for Contagious Clubwear, and uniquely wears their fabulous outfits whilst djing. This individual fashion style is what captures the heart of many clubbers and keeps Caz standing out from the rest.
Caz prides herself on her hard work and determination, carefully executing clean cut mixes and dramatic bass swaps, with big vocals, driving baselines and uplifting riffs. With influence from Rob Tissera and Lisa Pin Up, Caz keeps her sets fun, lively and very current to the times.
Caz has made several demos and mixes, with her first hard dance demo “Sound of the Nation 1” made in 2006. Since this demo, Caz has turned her hand to other genres ranging of styles varying from funky house to hardstyle, proving that Caz is a very adaptable and diverse dj keeping her fans on the edge of their seats! Caz has also been in the studio making tunes with well known producers including Technikal and Paul F, Kye Shand and Scott Fo Shaw, creating successful downloadable releases and remixing some familiar classics. Her most successful track to date is a remix of Rob Tissera’s classic “Take me Away” made with Technikal. This tune reached number 1 in download charts and is a real success on the dancefloors, becoming a popular tune for many DJ’s.
In 2008 Caz was a runner up in the Hard Dance Awards for Best Newcomer demonstrating that she plays a big part of the wave of new breed dj’s causing a storm amongst nights up and down the country, carrying forward the hard dance scene as we know and love today. For more info, please go to
